Dark Esther from John Alisons Excelent Webcomic " Scary go round" which can be found at [link]
I drew this in March last year before heading to the webcomicthing2008 where I was fortunate to meet John, chat with him and purchase some of his rough sketches.
Dark Esther is my favourite character and rather than draw her in a Stereotypical fasion I went for this as the character goes to boxing lessons and occasionally we see her deck someone.
Colour. I hate it so I need to practice, this turned out ok! reasonably pleased as it does the simple stuff I wanted to try! Woo!

I first knew of Esther from Volume one of the comic series, Giant Days.
The comic is a good read into Freshman college life. Goth characters are always attractive at first sight. Having Esther be a Skilled boxer makes her stand out from other Goth characters.
Long story short: I like this character. And she looks good in your art work. Her body position is a mix between being a fashion model with her legs closed together and back arched. And being a semi-professional boxer with her work out cloths and arms up for fighting with gloves on. What keeps her goth is the slightly pale skin, Jet black hair, and black lipstick.
